The Bureau of UNCSD briefed the delegations and other stakeholders of the UNCSD preparatory process about the status of preparations for the conference. The briefing was chaired by the Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda, Ambassador John Ashe in his capacity as co-chair of the Bureau of the preparatory process. The briefing was also attended by the Conference Secretary-General, Ambassador Sha Zukang.
